IPO Media & Signage

With simultaneous investor, customer, and press events happening on opposite coasts, branding challenges were abundant. Some, like the digital media cubes on the NYSE trading floor, were unique to the venue, but each represented an opportunity to tell a comprehensive brand story, no matter the format.

Impact

Working in lockstep with field marketing, the design agency, another designer, and numerous vendors, I made certain each asset was built to spec, delivered on time, and reflective of the overarching campaign.

Highlight: NYSE media cubes

Outside of the banner hung on the New York Stock Exchange building, the media cubes on the trading floor were some of the most high-impact visual elements from opening day. In line with the campaign, I chose an image that captured the same high-energy optimism that echoed throughout the rest of the collateral. Recoloring the shoes not only reinforced the brand palette, but drew subtle attention to how the angle of the legs mirrored the angle of the ramp in the brand mark.

Digital and print signage

Big banners and media may capture attention, but the details always matter. For smaller, informational event signage, I focused on type treatments, pulling in branded pattern elements for cohesion. When imagery was needed, I shifted away from legs and focused on hands. The end result was familiar without being too similar.
